Does anyone have any size 5'8" legs I might be able to borrow? Mine are shot. I had a very difficult time getting up this morning, and as I sit here blogging, I think I might fall asleep!! I am surprised at HOW fatigued I am. I plan to rest today in preparation for the tempo run tomorrow!! I might do light weights, Upper body only, later today. I did walk Nikko, but even she seemed very sluggish today! It must be the heat. I can't believe how hot it is. I think it was 101 degrees yesterday and it is going to be the same today! Hot, hot, hot!!
Did anyone notice that there are fewer trees in front of the Y? I am very saddened by this. I realize what the new director is trying to do. He wants everyone that drives by to notice the Y. I am inclined to think that in New York, where he is from, they don't like to breathe clean air!! We need those trees!! Maybe they will be planting new ones further from the building!! If this bugs you as much as it bugs me, please fill out a comment sheet at the front desk at the Y and place it in the appropriate box or ask the kind people at the front desk where to put it.
